The adv.
ubique is to be distinguished from ubi with the enclitic -que, each retaining its force, as in Plaut. Bacch. 1, 1, 36; id. Merc. 5, 1, 11; id. Rud. 2, 3, 58; Cat. 63, 46; Sall. C. 21, 1; Liv. 36, 2, 5; Hor. S. 2, 2, 84.
